ARC: A Court Bright and Broken

This was a lovely little fairytale jaunt.

Very much Cinderella vibes, except the heroine has a little more grit.

Forbidden love is the trope and I have a feeling there are some secrets regarding identities to come, which has me intrigued.

It's a rags-to-riches story where the heroine does lose a shoe, but after that it takes a bit of a turn. The girl is human, the prince is fae, and that creates an extra layer of tension.

Oh, and the book's version of the fairy godmother is a little more sinister.

Overall, it's nothing groundbreaking but was a quick and enjoyable read for anyone who loves a romantasy.
